Sources behind the current selection

Evidence types: industry survey (primary survey or large-sample marketplace data), published rate card (a vendor’s actual shelf price), agency pricing guide (an agency’s own post about what things cost — most public design pricing, which is why this page shows a range, never a quote).

What the research could not find

    • No Australian source publishes a price for a branding project. The branding ranges here are North American, converted where you switch currency, and rounded hard because a converted range is no more precise than its source.
    • One source, Veloura’s 2026 guide, tiers rebrand pricing by size and defines its own bands: small business under about $5m revenue, mid-market $10m–100m, enterprise by structure (multi-division or multi-market), not revenue. The refresh and rebrand cards use those bands as written; where Veloura is silent ($5m–10m, above $100m) the nearest band is shown and labelled. Elsewhere, sector and revenue only size the budget cross-check.
    • The cross-check uses marketing budget as a share of revenue (Gartner 2026 CMO Spend Survey; Deloitte/Duke/AMA CMO Survey) and a published 5–10% rebrand share of that budget. It measures capacity, not the price of a deliverable — a check, not a quote.
    • Low and high are the published floor and ceiling. The midpoint is their average, offered for convenience; no source publishes a median.
